What you need:

  • 200g steak cut into thin slices or pre cut beef stir fry strips (organic where possible)
  • 1 thumb sized piece of ginger - grated
  • 3 cloves garlic crushed
  • 1tbs tamari/soy sauce
  • 1tbs sesame oil
  • 2 cups thinly sliced vegetables (e.g. capsicum, carrot, spinach,bok choy mushrooms)
  • 1tsp coconut oil
  • 1tbs toasted sesame seeds

What you do:

  • Mix garlic, ginger, tamari and sesame oil in a bowl. Place beef strips in the bowl and cover (can leave for up to 1/2 hour or just while you're prepping the veg)
  • Heat coconut oil in a wok/large saucepan and add beef when very hot. Cook strips for 3 minutes each side, then take out and place on a plate.
  • Add vegetables to wok and cook for 5 minutes, then add back the beef.
  • Top with toasted sesame seeds
